30+ BEAUTIFUL BRAIDS FOR SHORT HAIR – DAY 21 – BRAIDED FESTIVAL BOB
Update: The 30+ Beautiful braids for short hair ebook is here!
It’s day 21 of the 30 braids for short hair challenge! This hairstyle somehow reminds me of summer festival hair (although I wouldn’t necessarily only were it during summer 😉 ) so I call it the braided festival bob 😀 It’s perfectly suited for a bob (even shorter than mine), provided that your hair doesn’t have a lot of layers, especially in the front.
You can make it as messy or neat as you want. Let’s have a look.
30+ BEAUTIFUL BRAIDS FOR SHORT HAIR – DAY 21
The tiny sections are what makes this look more intricate, but in reality you’re just using two basic techniques to achieve this style – the dutch braid and the lace braid.
Separate an inch wide section around your middle parting from front to back and braid it into a dutch braid, crossing the outer strands under the middle and incorporating new hair to the outer strands as you go along.
Then separate an inch to 1,5 inch wide sections running down to the top of your ears on both sides. Braid a lace braid and incorporate tiny sections only from the front and bring the outer strands over the middle.
All braids should be long enough to meet in the back of your head where you can tie them off with a clear elastic.
